Vittra was founded in 1993 and is today one of Sweden's leading independent school organisations with over 30 pre-schools, compulsory schools and upper secondary schools around the country. Our educational direction is based upon the interaction between individuals and communities.Vittra is starting a new International pre−school and school in Härryda!In August 2010 we are planning to open up the doors to our new Vittra International school, a bi-lingual school for children aged between 1 and 11 years, in Mölnlycke in the county of Härryda. We are also planning to start a pre-school and we are taking applications for these positions as well. Half of the educators will be English speaking. We will begin taking staff in from May through until August.We are looking for someone who:* Is preferably a qualified teacher.* Has English as a mother tongue and can preferably speak and understand Swedish as well. If not then the accepted candidate must be willing to learn Swedish to an agreed level during an initial trial period of employment.* Shares our values and our view of knowledge, learning and personal development* Has a genuine interest in the individual and is able to adapt content and methods for each situation and for each child’s different needs.* Has a process-oriented approach - identifying, preparing, carrying out, leading, and reflecting - on the basis of each individual's personal development, skills development and learning.* Has the drive and engagement needed to help start and build up a new school.As an educator in Vittra you will be working from a clear educational direction together with your colleagues in the team.
