Preschool teachers part time / full time
Preschool Orpheus Garden is a preschool with early childhood education and traditional but with particular emphasis on music and mathematics. Here are three age divisions divided by a total of about 35 children. We are now expanding the number of places and are therefore looking for one or two preschool teachers. Pre-school has close links to, and collaboration with, school Metapontum in the same building. Metapontum have profiles mathematics and music and many of our children continue to Metapontum. The preschool is located in Fruängen, about 10-15 minutes walk from the metro and near the E4. More information can be found on our website www.orfeusgarden.com .
Description of responsibilities:
All departments work thematically and usually have a theme per month. Music and mathematics also has its own plans / themes. Our eurythmics Ylva is with the kids every week but we have been singing and playing, the other days of our musical staff. We work with the preschool class at Metapontum and mathematics led by a preschool teacher from there. The preschool is located in the old Långbro hospital located in beautiful Långbro Park. Here we have access to their own farm but also close to the forest, field, playground and bird pond. We live outdoors as much as possible.
Description of qualifications:
We are looking for someone who is a trained preschool teacher. You can be experienced or recent graduate, the most important thing is that you are flexible, energetic and genuinely interested in young children's development and learning. Experienced and qualified childcare workers are in place, your task will be the main thing linking the skills with the goals of pre-school's new curriculum. Alva Myrdahl to have said something like this: those who work with small children should have a particularly happy and cheerful disposition. It gives you like to have! Preschool Orpheus farm is just over a year old so there are great opportunities for the right person to influence and develop.
