Pirate ship preschool located in Alsike, Knivsta.
Pirate Ship is a parent cooperative, which means that it is the parents who run preschool with employee education staff. There are two sections, parrot and pirate with a total of 34 seats. The parrot is for children between 1-3 years and pirate for children aged 3-5 years. We are a traditional preschool that focuses on giving children a comprehensive foundation to stand on when they leave preschool. We mix music, movement, creation and nature of our business. We place great emphasis on learning through interaction between people and their children to become confident individuals with their own ideas and opinions.

Preschool Head to the Pirate Ship

We are currently seeking a combined preschool director and preschool teacher. You will develop and operate the educational activities through the resourcefulness and innovation, while guiding the staff in the revised curriculum which is our working tool. The position includes responsibility for personnel and administrative data, the remainder of the time you are in the children group. You and the board are working together for a good working environment for staff and children. The financial responsibility lies mainly with the Board, but smaller purchases occur.

We prefer that you have proven experience of staff responsibility and to lead a team.
We appreciate if you have a special interest / knowledge of language development, mathematics and science. As a person, we believe that you are committed and creates job, takes initiatives, proactive and positive. That you are teaching overall, we see that for granted.
